JEUL Case Study on line Workshop was held between 12th to 14th, January, which was hosted by University of Kent, United Kingdom. Delegations of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA), University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and Jiangnan University participated the workshop. The delegation of NUAA consists of ZHOU Dequn, Dean of College of Economics and Managemen (CEM), WANG Ying, Vice Dean of Graduate School, XIE NaimingVice Dean of CEM, Professor MI Chuanmin, Associate Professor LU Hengzhen, Associate Professor HE Shawei, Associate Professor OUYANG Linhan, Associate Professor LI Jie, Lecturer WANG Junjie and XU Zhihuo, Secretary of International Affairs.

Professor Desmond Doran and Dr. Judy Cohen from University of Kent shared report on “Overview of the Case study Method”, “How to Use Case Studies in Your Teaching”and “Key Elements of Case Study Writing Using Case Study British Airways: ‘Club World’” to explain the nature, characteristics, reasons and application of case study. During the report, they organize the participants to discuss and design cases and deeply explore the application of case study in talent development. Associate Professor HE Shawei and OUYANG Linhan made report of the case study of CEM, and they discuss about ways to improve the effect of case study with experts attended the workshop. Experts provided valuable suggestions in case selection and design, and representatives from CEM gained a lot.

CEM was funded by European Union Erasmus+ JEUL project since 2018, which was the first time that NUAA was approved by the EU education project. NUAA has carried out cooperation with eight international universities, including University of Siena, SKODA Auto University, Vilnius University and University of Ken. Focusing on application of case study in teaching, universities under JEUL project improved a lot on teaching skills of teachers and practice skills of students. CEM will continue to promote cooperation with renowned international universities in teacher and students visiting, students overseas internship, joint research, etc , in order to cultivate high-level talents with international perspective.
