Program Introduction

Master of Professional Accounting, shorten as MPAcc, is an international universal professional degree. In March 2004, under the guidance of the Degree Committee of the State Council, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, China Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) degree was formally established.

The education of MPAcc is oriented to the accounting profession. Under the premise of following the rule of education and by combining closely with the actual work of the accounting profession, we aim to cultivate high level, high quality, applied accounting professionals with strong ability to solve practical problems, who fully understand the practice of accounting. They also need to know the basic principles of Marxism, Deng Xiaoping's theory, the important thought of three represents and the concept of scientific development well, to adhere to the four basic principles, to develop in aspects of morality, intelligence and physical agility integrally. Moreover, they should have good professional ethics and concept of law and discipline, as well as systematically master the knowledge and skills of modern accounting, auditing, financial management and other related fields.

1.Class of General MPAcc：The Class of General MPAcc adopts the case teaching method, pays attention to the combination of theory and practice, emphasizes the cultivation of students' ability to analyze and solve practical problems, and aims at cultivating high-level accounting talents with professional ethics.

2.Class of CPA：Certified Public Accountant (CPA) refers to professionals engaged in social auditing, intermediary auditing and independent auditing. CPA is the only officially recognized qualification of certified public accountant in China. The Class of CPA lays particular emphasis on the technical standards of accounting and auditing, by considering financial factors, trains students to work quickly and accurately, and to become professional and technical talents.

3.Class of ACCA：ACCA is called International Certified Public Accountant in China. In fact, it is the acronym of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, which is one of the four CPA associations with chartered title in Britain. It is also one of the most famous international accounting organizations nowadays. ACCA qualification is considered as the pass of international accounting community. The Class of ACCA embeds in the training of practical skills in the course. The theoretical framework of international accounting is set up in the direction of internationalization in the course as well. The aim of this class is to train the compound senior financial management personnel.

Candidates who apply for Part-time MPAcc must meet one of the following requirements:

1.Current undergraduate graduates with qualifications recognized by the national education authority;

2.Individuals who have obtained a bachelor degree recognized by the national education authority;

3.Individuals who have received a master or a doctor degree.
